A Fresher Update

Good afternoon everyone!
A few days ago I  posted an update on our potential move to Nashville.

Well, it is no longer potential.
South City Church voted unanimously this morning to call me as their pastor. I cannot even begin to describe to you the emotions that crashed around inside me when I got that phone call. I am so pleased, encouraged, affirmed, grateful, humbled and truly terrified all at the same time. So I would ask that you pray with and for us.
Pray for us as we begin the transition process. That process begins immediately. We need to schedule movers ASAP. We are in the process of securing housing. Pray that goes well also.
Pray for our hearts during this time that my wife and I would keep our marriage strong through good communication and keeping our hearts firmly fixed on Christ.
Pray for our children as we move and they form new friendships and we all adjust to a new city, new rhythms, a new church and all that goes with that.
Pray for South City Church as we move forward that we would make Christ known on the south side of Nashville. Pray for the city of Nashville that Christ would be made famous and his Church encouraged and kingdom expanded.
